It was a nice summer Monday afternoon around 1:30 pm. We have about 4 or 5 weeks before Matthew and his men come back. Mom was looking in the direction of the hospital. I had one of the twins in my arms, one on the table in a carrier and was sitting at the table near Mom. Hunter and Wyatt were in the pool with other kids and a swim teacher. I looked to see what Mom was looking at. It was my doctor with her hands in her smock. The doctor was walking toward us. My stomach dropped because I thought the worst. Something had happened to Matthew. When she got to us she said to Mom, I need to talk to you privately. Then she looked at me and I said, is Matthew ok? The doctor said, yes. He is fine. This is another matter. I said, oh. I will take the babies to the blanket. As I was putting the baby in his carrier, someone brought the doctor a lunch plate. I put the twins in their carriers on a blanket and took them out on to the blanket. The doctor talked to Mom. After about 30 minutes Mom called Amy and sent her to me. Amy said, Mom wants me to watch the kids. The doctor wants to talk to you. I got up, went back to the table and sat across from the doctor. The doctor asked if I remember a man named Mark? I said, no. She said, Do you remember anything before you came here? All I really remember was waking up in a house with Matthew. The doctor said, I am not surprised because you had a serious case of Meningitis. A brain infection. Matthew got a special doctor and his team to treat you. For several months no one though you were going to live. Matthew is not to know anything about what we are talking about. Do you think you can not tell him? I said, yes. The doctor said, are you sure? I said, yes. The doctor said, a man from the DOD called and said, a man name Mark from the FBI needs you to come back and work for him. I explained you couldn’t jump and were very fragile. I sent him a medical report explaining why you can’t go back to work. I also said, you were married to Mathew and have 4 small children to take care of. This Mark wants to talk to you. So tomorrow around this time Mom will bring you to my office to talk to this Mark. Mark will talk to a man at the DOD and the man will talk to me over the Internet. Then I will tell you the questions and relay your answers back. You will not talk directly to this Mark. Do you think you can do this and not tell Matthew? This would upset Matthew and there is no reason to upset him. I said, yes. If that is what you think is best. The doctor said, good. She then thanked Mom and said, see you tomorrow, She got up and went back to the hospital. Mom said, you don’t remember this Mark? I said, no. I can’t really remember anything before I woke to see Matthew. I often wondered why I couldn’t remember. If I had Meningitis that must explain why I don’t remember. Mom said, Matthew called after he picked you up and said you were very sick. He said he wanted to go kill the people who had you for not taking you to the hospital. He said, the doctor where he took you told him it would be a miracle if you lasted another day. He was so mad on the phone. He would call me every day and tell me what was happening. He bought in a special doctor and his team but they said if they were able to do anything you might end up a vegetable. Then one day he called and said, they told him you were better and to take you home. That they had done everything they could and it was all up to God. So he took you somewhere and took care of you for another couple of months. I said, I remember Matthew asking if he went to the store was I going to run off while he was gone. I thought where would I go? I couldn’t really remember who I was. Plus I was really weak, skin and bones and couldn’t even hardly walk. Matthew was so sweet to me. He said, I had been really sick. Mom said, after tomorrow we will never speak of this phone call again because this would really upset Matthew. He is so happy right now and he really loves you and the kids I said, don’t worry. I love him very much and would not want to upset him. Just then Hunter and Wyatt came to the table all wet. They were finished with their swim lesson and wanted something to eat. The rest of the day was as usual. Swimming, eating and playing with the kids.
TUESDAY AUGUST 20 Today was going as usual. At a little after 1:00pm Amy and a friend came to over to the table to watch the kids. Mom and I headed to the doctor’s office. The nurse had us sit outside of the doctor’s office for a few minutes until the doctor came. The doctor showed and we all went in. The doctor set on her side of her desk and we sat on the other. She opened up her laptop and then called someone in Digital Security. She told them we were ready. When a link showed she clicked on it and a page popped it. She had the camera turned off but the mic on. The doctor talked to the man on the other end and he explained he was from the DOD and had Mark there. He asked if Angel was there and the doctor said, yes. He then asked Mark what his first question was. Mark said, this is Mark and Angel worked with me several years ago. Do you remember me? The doctor repeated the questions even though I could here the two mem on the computer. I said to the the doctor, no. I do not remember him or working with him. The doctor repeated my answer for this Mark. Mark said, he found me in Santa Monica. Do I remember that? I said, no. Mark said, I wanted to ask you to for give me for how I treated you. I was in love with you and I would go out of my mine with jealousy. Can you for give me? I said, I don’t remember you or any body before I got sick. So if you are asking for forgiveness I think you already have it. Because I don’t remember you or what happened. Mom shook her head yes. She thought that was a good answer. Mark said, Do you remember your name? I said, my name is Angel. Mark said threw the man, that is not your name. That name was given to you by people you saved. Mark said, your name is Julie Myers. I looked at mom in disbelieve. I said, I don’t remember that being my name and I don’t think I look like a Julie. Mark said, I was just putting that out there to see if you remembered your name. I wanted to know if you are happy. I said, yes. Very happy. I am married to a wonderful man and we have 4 children. Mark said, I was told that. I wanted to marry you and have children with you but I was stupid and let jealousy rule my mind. I want to thankyou for talking to me. If you ever need anything at all call me and I will help. No strings attached. Mom answered, thankyou. But I don’t think that will ever happen. Mark said, I still love you and would do anything for you. Mom answered again, I am very happy and don’t believe that will ever happen. Mark said, ok. Bye. The doctor closed the page and called Digital Security. She talked to someone that said, DOD was on the line listening and we were not talking to the DOD. We were talking to Mark. The man said, the DOD was going to put out a warrant for Mark and the other man for claiming to be the DOD. Mark retired last year from the FBI and does consulting, but we know where he lives. The doctor said, good. The call really concerned her. She also said, Matthew is not to know about this. The computer person said, not to worry. They felt everything would be taken care of in the next day or two. The doctor said, thankyou and hung up. The doctor said, we are done and will forget this meeting happened. I said, Julie. I really don’t feel like a Julie. The doctor said, I don’t think that was your name. I think he was fishing for your name now. Mom said, I thought the same thing. She turned to me and said, let’s get back to the kids. We got up and walked back. The rest of the day went as usual.
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 21 I went to the gym today with a couple of the other mothers while Amy, Cindy, other mothers and the swim instructor watched the kids. I was a really nice day and I sleep good because of the exercise.
THURSDAY AUGUST 22 It was a usually day of swimming, eating and playing with the kids.
FRIDAY AUGUST 23 Today was great. It was cloudy but still hot. We came in early in the afternoon for the kids nap because they were having something special for the mothers and kids in the family room. Everyone was missing their man.
SATURDAY AUGUST 24 There were several birthday parties on the lawn. Hunter’s birthday was last week but we saved her party for today because then we could have the bounce house and water slide. Besides there was more excitement. Hunter really likes chocolate cake. Mom had to make her stay out of the cake and candy more that once. She would say, I am just getting a piece for Wyatt. They both had way too much candy from the pinata. Matthew doesn’t like them having sugar. He would have been really upset if he had seen how much she ate. It still would have been nice for him to been here. I really miss him. Can’t wait for him to come back.
SUNDAY AUGUST 25 Today was nice. They still had the party stuff out. The bounce house, water slide and games so the kids wore themselves and me out. I slept good. Time is going fast. I will not be long now for Matthew and his men to come back. They can’t come back until everyone passes. So it makes me wonder how they are doing. Matthew said, usually if someone fails they send them home, but him and his men are all family. They have to help each other threw this and have each others back. Plus it will let him and the doctors know why people fail and what is need to bring them up to passing or even better that passing.
