Another Day

I woke with a kiss and water dripping on me from Matthews hair. He had already taken a shower. He said you need to get up sleepy head. We are going to do the something today and go to the gym. He got dressed and went the living area. I took a quick shower and got dressed. When I went to the living area they had brought breakfast and also another table for Matthew to work on. It was set near the eating area. We had breakfast and then I went and found a movie on the tv. After a couple of hours we went to the gym again. I felt really good today. I slept so good last night and breakfast was great. I thought I am going to do better on the machines today.

We were on maybe the fourth machine when suddenly I started feeling really bad. I could hardly speak and my cries for help were coming out in a whisper, “Matthew.” Matthew turned to me just when everything was going black. He saw I was having a problem putting his arm around my waist he set me on the floor. I could here him but couldn’t see him. He was saying, “Are you ok?” I then saw his face and said, “No, I am sick.” He got on his phone and in a few minutes a nurse came. I could see everyone and so Matthew and the nurse took me back to our room. Sitting on the couch the nurse took blood pressure, temperature and was asking me question. What happen and how was I doing. She pricked my finger and then said my blood sugar was very low. Matthew looked the fridge and there was a small container of milk. The nurse had me drink it. She also took a blood test to send to the lab. Matthew ordered a strawberry protein drink on the phone and it was there very quickly. The nurse handed it to me and said, “drink this.” I started feeling like myself but it took about half an hour. You could tell Matthew was very worried. When I felt better the nurse said she was going to go send to blood to the lab. Matthew wanted her to come back and stay with me while he went back to the gym. She returned in about an hour. I was asleep on the couch and Matthew was working at the table. She woke me taking my blood pressure, blood sugar, blood oxygen, temperature and asking questions. When she was sure I was fine she turned to Matthew and told him. He told me he was going back to the gym and if I started feeling bad again to have her call him. I agreed, he left and I went back to sleep. I don’t understand what happen and why all I wanted to do was sleep.

He came back later and nurse again woke me taking vitals. She then left. Matthew worked on something on his new table and I flipped channels. Later he ordered dinner and also ordered a sitter for me for tomorrow.. He told the person on the phone he had to go out on business and need a nurse or sitter. We had a nice dinner as usual. We went to bed and I slept very soundly not moving a muscle all night.
