Angel was still asleep at the hospital, so Serena was taking care of the baby. She had him eating baby food like oat meal and a baby bottle with baby formula. He seem to be happy. Scott was taking care of Hunter. Carrying her around, feeding her at meals, changing her, and taking her in the pool to teach her to swim. The baby was dealing with Angel being gone well but every once in a while Hunter would turn to Scott and say mum, mum. He would tell her she had to go to the doctor and would be back soon. After lunch Hunter was sitting on Scott’s lap at the table and Scott was talking to Mom when his phone rang. The nurse said Angel was awake if he wanted to talk to the her for a few minutes. Scott hung up and told Mom. Mom said, do you want me to take Hunter? Scott said, no I will take her with me. Beside I want to show Angel, Hunter is still alive so she will not worry about how the kids are. Scott headed to the hospital with Hunter in his right arm. When he got there the nurse took him to the room. The nurse adjusted Angel’s pillow so she could sit up because they were bringing her food. They had unhooked her from the bags and the blood pressure machine. Angel was happy to see them. Hunter said, mum, mum and wanted to get down. Scott said, no. Mommy is in bed and going to eat lunch. Hunter tried to get down. Scott put his right arm around her waist bending her in half so she was hanging with her arms and legs down to his side. She was kicking and waving her arms while saying no. Scott looked at Angel grinning from ear to ear and said, she can be difficult at times just like her mother. Angel wanted to laugh. Scott pulled Hunter back up in his arms. She just looked at him with her bottom lip over her top lip. Scott said to Angel, how are you feeling? Angel said, really good actually. How do I get here? Scott said, you just fell asleep at the table. Angel went really. Scott took Hunters hand and waved it at Angel. His head went back and forth a little as he said, your mom just takes naps, any time and any place she wants she wants. Angel just looked at the two of them. Scott said, did the doctor tell you about your new eating schedule? Angel said, no not yet. Scott said, you have to stop breastfeeding the little guy but Serena has been feeding him baby food and bottles. He seems ok with that. Then you have to eat every two hours, take a nap in the after noon with the kids and go to bed when the kids go to bed. Angel said, really. Scott had a hold of Hunter with both hands and she was waving her head back and forth. Scott said, the doctor thinks your system is overload. Angel smiling at the two said, well if I am just falling asleep at the drop of a hat then I have to do something. I hate to stop breast feeding the baby but he is something like four almost 5 months so he should be fine. They brought Angel a tray of food. She said she was starved and dug right in, starting with apple juice. Scott sat down in a chair with squirming Hunter. When Angel was almost done the doctor came in. The doctor said to Angel, How are you feeling? Angel said, great. The doctor said, I don’t know when we will send you home yet but you do look good. When you came in for some reason your blood count, magnesium, iron and blood sugar were all down. We got them back to normal but have not solved the mystery as to why this is happening. Did Scott tell you the changes we are going to try. Angel smiled and said, yes. The doctor said, I will give it to you in writing when you can go home. The doctor said, ok then just take it easy for now. Scott thanked the doctor and told Angel he had to go because Hunter was squirming too much but, to call him if she needed anything. Scott stood up and took Hunters hand to wave bye at Angel. As he waved her hand he said, bye mommy. Can you say bye? Scott said, bye and they went out the door. Angel noticed how happy Scott was and not so serious. She thought Hunter is good for him.
About eight pm Scott came back to check on Angel. Hunter was falling asleep in his arms. Angel was was watching tv. He said to Angel we just thought we would check on you before bed. Angel replied, Oh I am so glad you came by. I miss you guys. The doctor said I might get to go home in the morning. He leaned Hunter over so her face was next to Angel’s and said, want to give her a good night kiss. Angel said, yes I do. She gave Hunter a big kiss on her face and said, I love you. Hunter smiled and fell back asleep. Scott said, well I guess I better get her in bed. Good night and they left. Scott took her to Mom’s room and knocked on the door. When Mom answered the door Scott said, do you have room for one more? Mom said, always for this one. He kissed Hunter on the cheek, handed her over and went to his room. Mom thought that’s totally unlike Scott. Paul was going to be the watchman for the night since Scott had been up all day. Scott said goodnight to Paul and hit the sack.
At the temple everyone was up at 5am. After breakfast Matthew and Jean’s training monk said he wanted to talk to them about the Shaolin Master Monk and warrior monk that were coming. He took them to a room and said he wanted to show them some moves. He wanted them to know what to expect from the warrior monk that was going to test them. He said he was doing this because the warrior monk was going to be really hard on them. He said, if they thought they should quit then quit. Don’t let this guy kill you. Don’t let him hit you because once he hits you game over. They spent a good 2 hours going over moves and what the testing monk might do. When they did join the group the two people in their group were glad to see them. They thought they might have gone home.
Around 4pm the High Master Monk showed with two warrior monks. They had the eight of us sit on the ground while the two Master Monks visited. After about half and hour of the visiting warrior monk came down to the floor. Our training monk went to talk to him and he came to Matthew. He said, are you ready? Matthew stood up and said, yes. Matthew went and stood across from the warrior monk. They bowed to each other and just stood for a second. The warrior monk stepped forward slamming his foot down. Matthew didn’t flinch. For the first few minutes Matthew would either move or block. The warrior monk seems upset by the fact that Matthew was so fast and moved. He got very aggressive and tried to get at Matthew. Matthew had watched his moves and now decided he could take him. He got very aggressive and was about to move the monk back a foot or two. Then Matthew thought I don’t want to embarrass him in from of his Master. He let the monk move him back about two feet where it looked like the monk was going to take him down. Matthew stopped and bowed out. The warrior monk was very happy. Then they gave them sticks and placed them apart again. Matthew did the same thing studying the warrior monks moves while trying to show his skills. He moved the monk back a foot or so. And then thought I have to bow out again. He let the monk move him back when the monk caught his right arm. Matthew stepped back rubbing his arm and thinking that’s going to bruise. He then let the monk move him back more and then stopped and bowed out. Matthew bowed to the warrior monk and went and sat down. The two Master monks had a meeting. Matthew told Jean careful of that stick it stings like crazy. Jean said why didn’t you take him. Matthew said, I didn’t want to embarrass him in front of his Master. Jean said, I see that would have not gone well. Our training monk came and got Jean. He tried to follow what Matthew had done letting the warrior monk win. Jean’s moves were smooth and quick. When he decided he could take the warrior monk he let the monk beat him back and then bowed out. The same thing happened with the sticks but with Jean he didn’t let him hit him. Jean bowed out and went and sat down. It was no loss to Matthew and Jean if they lost but it would not be good for the warrior monk to go home disgraced. After the two Master Monks had a meeting everyone went to a dinner room with a big lay out of fruit, chicken, bread, cheese, goats milk and just everything you would want. It was just a great dinner. Matthew and Jean were very happy about their performance even though it was listed as a loss. Everyone turned in early.
