WEDNESDAY JULY 12

Mom woke me up because I was crying. She ask what was wrong and I told her I am worried about being a good parent and wife. She hugged and said, It’s just because you are pregnant. Everything is going to be fine. I managed to go back to sleep. At breakfast I was starving. My stomach had become a bottomless pit. I wanted to eat everything I saw. You know that see food diet. There were a couple pieces of toast left on the table. I took one and put butter and strawberry jell on it. Before I knew it was gone. It tasted really good so I reached for the other piece when Scott stabbed it with a fork. Everyone’s eyes got big and was waiting to see what was going to happened. Scott said, that’s enough. I remember then that the doctor said not to eat things that didn’t have a lot of vitamins. I looked at Scott and didn’t know what to say. So I said, Oh I am full anyway and smiled. After I went to class and took Hunter in the pool for half an hour I could have eaten the table cloth I was so hungry again and it was a long time until lunch. I was hoping my smoothie would come. I was sitting at the table with Hunter in my lap. We were playing with some toys. I got very sleepy and all of a sudden my chin fell down on my chest and then my head went a little to my right shoulder. I was sound a sleep. Hunter didn’t notice for a while and when she did she said, mum, mum. When I didn’t answer she just ignored it. She saw a bowl of 4 rolls on the table. She stood up and on her stomach reached across the table pulling the bowl to her. When she sat back down on me she took one roll at a time and threw them on the ground. Then holding the edge of the table she slipped to the ground ending up sitting down. She got to her feet, picking up a roll in each hand she went to the pool and tried to throw them at Mom. Mom did notice until she had gone and got the other two rolls. Cindy saw what was going on with Hunter and said to Mom, where did she get the rolls. Mom looked over at Hunter who was standing on the edge of the pool. She was laughing and trying to throw a roll. Mom was shocked. Mom screamed at the top of her lungs “Scott”. Scott looked up from a book he was reading and saw Hunter. He jumped up and ran quickly over putting his arm around her waist. He was hold her against his side with her arms and legs hanging down. She was yelling no, no as he walked over to Angel at the table. He looked at my face and my eyes were closed but I was breathing. He walked back to the pool and asked Cindy if she could watch Hunter. She was coming up the steps of the pool and said no problem. He said he would be right back but he needed to get the wheel chair. Cindy took Hunter and Scott hurried in the house and got the wheel chair. He pulled my chair back from the table and getting in from of me he said Angel can you wake up. Again he said Angel, Angel. I open my sleepy eyes just enough to see him and said what? He said I am going to move you to the wheel chair. Very drowsy I said, Ok. He put his hands on my waist and moved me to the wheel chair. Mom and everyone in our group had come out of the pool to see what was happening. Amy got the soggy rolls out of the pool and off the grass. Just then a woman from the kitchen showed up with a smoothie for me. Scott took it and pushed me to the hospital clinic. I was totally out of it. When he got me too the clinic he told the nurse there was something wrong with me and I needed to see the doctor. She took Scott to a room with a bed and had Scott put me in bed. He took my shoes off and covered me with the sheet. He tried to wake me up to drink the smoothie but I just said I was too tired. The bed felt so good, so I went to sleep. The nurse took my blood pressure and checked me for iron and blood sugar. When the doctor came in Scott told her what had happened. She said my iron was low but not bad and the same for the blood sugar. He explained I fell asleep just before the smoothie came and he had not been able to wake me to drink it. She said she was going to hang some bags to maintain adequate fluid administration, and proper nutrition.  She was also going to take blood to send to the lab and add a catheter to keep an eye on liquid out put. The doctor thinks when the baby is not getting what it needs it shuts down every thing that is not necessary. She didn’t understand why this is happening because she didn’t have this problem with the last pregnancy. Scott was truly concerned. The doctor left and Scott went to look at Angel. Her hair was in her face, so he gently moved it to the side of her head. He had fallen in love with Hunter and now he was falling in love with Angel. When Angel was all squared away Scott said he was going to tell Mom what was happening, grab some lunch and come back. The doctor said, he didn’t need to worry she just needs some sleep. He came and checked on her 3 more time today.

This morning at the monastery there were only 9 people. Matthew remembered beating the 3 that left. Jean had beat them also. It was another day of drills and competition. In the after noon they put everyone in two lines. These people that were left were harder to beat but Matthew and Jean didn’t loose. Each day was getting tougher and tougher.
