The day went really well. Matthew kept the baby next to him all the time. After breakfast Matthew and Jean went to Carlson’s office to work on things and Matthew took the baby. They came back for class and Matthew never took the baby off his chest. After class they were off to Carlson’s office again. When Matthew was gone I started leaking, so I used the breast pump incase the baby came back hungry. It was strange being separated from Wyatt. For 3 months he had always been right next to me. Matthew and Jean were talking about going on a business trip this week so I was hopping the baby would be fine when they left.
The women’s group decided to send out a flyer on what kids wanted to do for Summer. Megan wanted piano lessons and a reading club. Daniela wanted swimming since we had a lap pool. An obstacle course and computer programing lessons for the boys. Mom and I thought all of these things were great. When Matthew and Jean came back the baby was hungry. I told him I put a bottle in the room fridge. He took the baby and went off to our room. When he return with the baby and bottle he sat down and the baby finished the bottle. Matthew took the bottle and sat in front of me with a big smile and said, Do we get free refills. I smiled and said, Yes. The rest of the day was great. At boxing class and the gym I didn’t have to worry about the baby. It felt weird but I knew he was in good hands. At bed time Matthew said him and Jean would be spending a lot time with Carlson because they had work todo. I asked if he was taking the baby and he said yes.
