I woke this morning for breakfast and was so tired. Having to feed two babies was wearing me out. I think I will be sleeping most the day. Since I slept most of the day Matthew spent a lot of time in the apartment with dog, the baby goats and taking care of business. He also took a shower with his razor and shower kit. When he came back I could smell Matthew. It was nice because the hospital supplies were not as nice as the stuff he always used. I woke for breakfast, lunch, dinner, to feed the babies and go to the bathroom. I think that was going to be my schedule for awhile.
MONDAY DECEMBER 4 Matthew was watching over the babies and taking care of them at night. It was taking a lot of pressure off of me and I was getting more sleep. I was starting to feel good during the day and able to take showers and be awake in the mornings. The only thing I was worried about was my milk supply. If I was going to have enough milk to feed 2 babies all the time.
TUESDAY DECEMBER 5 The nurse came in early and said she needed me to come with her so she could get the standard weight, pee and blood. When she brought me back the baby doctor was there. He looked at the babies and his nurse weighed them. He ask how the feedings were going and if I was having any problem with my nipples. I said, they are fine right now but I was starting to worry about milk supply. He said, he was going to have the nurse give me a breast pump and if the babies were hungry every 3 to 4 hours try and use the breast pump 2 hours after feeding during the day and fit in the breast pump once at night. That will increase the milk supply. I wasn’t having a problem with sore nipples yet. He left and the nurse showed with the breast pump and explained how to use it. She gave me some more soap to clean my nipples with. I kind of laughed and she said, what is it? I said, using the breast pump is going to make them bigger and they are like bowling balls now. I am going to have to get a larger shirt. But it is nice not to be able to see your stomach over your boobs. She smiled. I had a good day and while Matthew was gone doing things the baby’s nurse helped take care of the babies.
WEDESDAY DECEMBER 6 When I woke I felt pretty good today. The whole place was a buzzy with some news. Everyone who came in was really happy and nice. When the food came the nurse let the guy from the kitchen come and bring it, with her following behind. Normally only the nurses were allowed in. The guy gave me my food and then put Matthews’s food on the table next to Matthew who was sitting in the chair. The man was just looking at Matthew. Then Matthew said, thankyou my brother. The guy from the kitchen said, do you need anything else? Matthew looked at his tray and said, no. Everything looks fine. The guy said, if you need anything, anything at all, just call the kitchen and I will run it right over. Matthew said, thankyou. That is very nice of you. The guy left. Him and the nurse went off whispering down the hall. It seems Jean told Mike and Devin that he was stuck in a door trying to close on him when Matthew rescued him. Then Matthew carried him on his back for 3 days and 3 nights down a hill in the freezing snow with no food or water to a doctor. Mike and Devin told Josh and other people the story Jean told them until it got around to everyone. Everyone wanted to see the new Matthew. Matthew’s men and everyone who heard it had a new respect for Matthew. All Matthew’s men wanted to be his right hand man and chosen for Matthew’s team. When Josh told Matthew’s mom the story she was so proud of Matthew that he didn’t leave Jean behind. She couldn’t wait to see her son and see how he was doing. Josh told her he was doing really well and was so in love with new babies.
THURSDAY DECEMBER 7 Matthew woke me with a kiss and said, how is sleeping beauty. I opened my eyes and looked at him and said, in love with a prince. He smiled really big and said I thought I would let you know breakfast was coming soon. I said, oh thanks and got up and went to the bathroom. The babies were happy and quite. The day was good and I watched a little tv today. Dr. Walton came in the afternoon. I like talking to him because I am so guilt ridden about Scott. I haven’t heard from Scott but was hopping he was ok.
When Daniela was taking the boys to breakfast her youngest one saw Matthew going to Apartment 1 and tugged on his mom’s arm saying, see there is the jedi. Daniela and her oldest saw Matthew for just a second before he was out of sight. The youngest said, see. I told you a Jedi lived her. Daniela replied, yes you did. At breakfast the young boy ask Mom if she knew if he could talk to the Jedi? Mom said, what? He said, yes. I saw a Jedi and wanted to know if I can talk to him. Mom said to Daniela, what is he talking about? She said, he has been see a Jedi and we have seen him also. So he thought maybe you could get the Jedi to talk to him. Mom said, I don’t know of a Jedi but will ask Carlson about a Jedi. The boy was very excited. Mom was thinking that Angel had told her Matthew had changed his appearance and wondered if the boy was talking about Matthew. I was awake most of the day so fell asleep right after dinner. It was a good day over all.
FRIDAY DECEMBER 8 When I opened my eyes I saw Matthew taking his daddy shirt off. I looked at all his bruises that had turned yellow. They would be gone soon and he will look better. He wasn’t muscular as when he left and still looked a little sickly. I was hopping I would start getting accustom to his new look. Maybe when he gets some meat back on his bones and looking healthy. I so wanted him back. Carlson called him and told him he had been blocked from down stairs because Dr. Walton said he was not to go down there. Matthew said, that was fine. What ever the doctor thought was best. When my doctor came in she said, I was doing good but would like me to try and get some exercise. Walk the hall around our area. She said the nurse would walk with me. She said, she might let me go home soon. Another good day.
SATURDAY DECEMBER 9 Today was another good day. I was getting accustom to Matthew waking me up at night and handing me a baby to feed. After Dr. Walton would come I would take a nap. I was so glad he was coming to talk to me. This guilt of sleeping with another man while being married to Matthew was hard to deal with.
SUNDAY DECEMBER 10 I woke up and looked at Matthew. I was starting to get accustom to Matthew’s changes in his appearance and manner of speaking. I was thinking about the night I got pregnant. How Matthew woke me up saying he found a love button. I had so many wonderful memories and hoped I would have many more. He had always been so wonderful to me and the kids.
MONDAY DECEMBER 11 Today was really good. I watched some tv and walked the hall with the nurse. Dr. Walton came and we had a really good talk. I was starting to wish I could go home.
