Saturday I woke up feeling really good. I had a great dream. I was short but nice. I had to tell Mom when she woke up. Mom I had a great dream. Mom said, what was it about? I was sitting at the table out at the pool. I looked over at the grass and there was Matthew in a monks robe sitting on the grass in a circle with 4 kids. One was Hunter and she looked about 7. Wyatt was maybe 6 and there was another girl and a boy. So maybe one of the kids was this baby and the other maybe was Serena’s baby. Mom said, that sounds great. What were they doing? I said, I don’t know but I think it means Matthew will be back soon. Mom said, I think he will be back soon and I don’t think we have to worry.
The new harness is great. It only holds up my stomach when I stand up or walk. The other one didn’t fit right.
SUNDAY AUGUST 27 It was a really great day with Hunter’s birthday party. Mom got the bounce house and all the kids had a great time. Scott helped Hunter with the piñata and Serena gave the kids popsicles. Hunter is crazy about the toys she got and fell asleep before we got back to Mom’s room. Scott had to carry her and put her in her bed. It was just a great day.
MONDAY AUGUST 28 Scott showed at 6am to get me and Serena. He took us over to the clinic to see the doctor. She saw Serena first. Then she saw me. I told the doctor I thought I was eating too much. She said, I need to measure the baby. Do you want Scott to see the baby? I said, I wanted Matthew to see the baby before anyone else. She asked Scott to wait outside with Serena. So he stepped out and shut the door. She put the jell on my stomach and started running the device around. She spent several minutes taking measurements. Finally she said, The good new is the baby is great. Now I am going to show the baby and show you why you are so big. I was excited and said, ok. She turned the monitor toward me. She pointed to the baby and said, do you see the baby? I said, yes. She said, it is a boy and looks great. I was so happy. She took the pointer and said, do you see this baby? It is a girl and is also going really good. I looked at the monitor in disbelieve. I said, a girl? She said, yes. A girl and a boy. I said, I am having twins? She said, yes. I said, that is great news. A girl and a boy? She said, that explains why you are bigger than before. I said, this is so great. Matthew is going to be so happy. I know I am. She said, I think Matthew is going to be really happy. Now I want you to keep doing what you have been doing and see me next month unless you have a problem. I said, ok. I couldn’t stop smiling. She cleaned me off and I went out the door. I told Scott and Serena that the baby was great. I wanted to keep my secret for Matthew. Hunter wanted to take all her new toys out at the pool. Mom limited her to 2 and she wasn’t happy about that. I had another good day. I was watching Scott. I am so happy Matthew picked him to watch over us while he was gone. Hunter is crazy about him and he is so good with the kids. I spent a lot of time in the pool. Walking back and forth to get more exercise. My stomach is not heavy in the pool. When I went to sleep I thought about the fact I am having twins and fell asleep with a smile on my face.
