I woke up thinking I was going to throw-up. I looked at the clock and it was a little after 11pm. I hadn’t been asleep very long. I clenched my teeth and put my hand over my mouth. I hurried as quick as possible to the bathroom and just made it to the toilet in time. I looked up and saw Serena staring at me. I went back to the bathroom door and as I was shutting it I looked at Serena. I pointed at her and then pinched my lips in order to say, don’t say a word. She gave me a thumps up. With the door shut I went and sat on the floor next to the toilet. I had lost my smoothie but I think I had kept my dinner. I thought If I start this everyday Matthew is sure to find out. Maybe if I just start eating Tums and crackers before I think I will get sick. Well being a Mommie has problems. When I was feeling better I went back to bed. I woke at the regular time by the baby. My little alarm clock. I was doing well. I took care of him and then put him back in his bed. I sat down in the chair and was so tired. I thought I should go to bed but shut my eyes for a minute and was out. Mom woke me later and said, we need to get ready for breakfast. Hunter was jumping as high as possible in her bed and laughing like crazy. It cheered me up. I got up and took her out of her bed. I said, if you jump too hard you will break your bed. She didn’t seem to care. She was in a really good mood. I got her ready even though I felt really tired. I got ready and then the baby. Mom said, are you ready. I said, yes but could we put the kids in the stroller. I am too tired to carry either one of them. She went to the closet and got the double stroller out. She said, did you sleep ok last night. I said, yes. I don’t know why I am so sleepy. We went out to the table and as I was sitting there waiting for breakfast I kept closing my eyes. Mom nudged me and said, move your elbow dear they want to put your plate down. I opened my eyes and moved my arm. I then looked at the table and everyone was looking at me. I looked at my plate and it was this wonderful looking spinach and cheese omelet. They also gave me a big glass of milk and a glass of orange juice. I looked at everyone and said, wow this looks really good. I started eating and then started falling asleep. I leaned my head on one hand and shut my eyes. I was too tired to eat. I thought I heard Mom tell everyone that Matthew and Jean were coming back Friday and the wedding will be Sunday. There would be the last clothes fitting on Wednesday. She was talking to Scott and Paul about clothes for them to come to the wedding. When she finish she asked, Scott if he could wake me up and take me to the clinic to see the doctor. I was fighting to open my eyes. The next thing I remember was Scott trying to wake me up saying can you wake up? I don’t want to have to carry you. I got my eyes open enough and he helped me up and with his arm around me so I didn’t fall down we went to the doctors. Mom put a napkin and a small plate over my food. She asked Daniela if the boys wanted the milk and orange juice. Daniela’s boys were excited about that and down them right away. Daniela said, thankyou my boys have bottomless stomachs. Mom asked if they wanted the omelet and they said no when they saw the spinach. Mom kind of laughed. Mom offered it to Paul and he said, sure if you don’t think she is coming right back. Mom said, I think she will be gone a while and then we will get her something else. When we got to the doctor’s she was waiting for us. She said, I haven’t had a lot of people today so we have empty rooms. Scott helped me to a bed the doctor said, to put me in. She started checking me out. I had fallen back to sleep and she could have done anything I would not have know. She did a blood test and even an ultrasound and then told Scott I is fine. She said she was going to let me sleep it off and he could stay or go back. He choose to stay. I didn’t hear her but she called Mom and told her that breast feeding and being pregnant was taxing my body so it decided I needed a rest. She said I think she just needs some extra sleep. She said, Scott is staying for now so she will be fine. If she is still asleep at bed time I will wake her and see if she can come home. If not she can just sleep until she is ready to go home. Mom said, are you going to call Matthew? She said, No. I did an ultrasound and everything seems fine. I even took a blood test, checked blood sugar and iron. Everything is great she is just exhausted. I see no reason to worry him because she is just tired. Mom said, good. Thankyou. I will wait to hear from you. When the doctor hung up she asked Scott if he wanted some coffee and he thought that would be nice. He said, he had just had breakfast and was not hungry. She said, if you need anything let me know and she when out of the room. When she came back with the coffee for Scott she told him there was a cot with blankets and pillows in the closet if he needed them. Scott thanked her. Paul brought him lunch, dinner and his favorite book. Scott told Paul to tell Mom I was resting peacefully and didn’t seem to have a problem. The doctor came by after dinner and tried to wake me up but I was so far asleep I didn’t answer. The doctor and Scott got me up and put me on the toilet. I heard the doctor say I don’t want you peeing the bed. I remember peeing a lot. Back in bed she checked my blood pressure and heart. Then hung up a bag. She told Scott I hadn’t eaten all day and didn’t want me to get dehydrated in my condition. Scott rolled the words around in his head. My condition. She must mean pregnant. He saw the doctor do an ultrasound and heard her talking to Mom. She said if she is still out of it in the morning I will add vitamins. Call me at my number if you see any problem. Later in the night I turned over and opened one eye just enough to see the IV. With my eyes shut I said, Matthew can we go home now I am tried of this bed. Scott wasn’t sure what to say but said, No. Not until the doctor says so. So I went back to sleep. In the middle of the night I opened one eye to see the IV again and being totally out of it I said, Matthew are you mad at me for tying that man up? Scott wondered what I was talking about. He put his book down and moved toward the bed. He said, what man? I barely could talk but said almost totally asleep, the one behind the bush trying to get in the house. Scott’s eyes got really big and remembered the man that was thrown out from behind the bush. He said, Oh no don’t worry everything is fine. I didn’t replied because I was back in a deep sleep.
