It was 3am. Scott came back from the gym and put his dirty clothes in his room and went to the kitchen to see if he could get a protein drink. Serena came in the front door looking for Scott because she couldn’t sleep. She was hoping she could get more answers to what happened to Jean. She saw Scott’s door open and went in. She didn’t find Scott but on his dresser was a black book labeled Matthew. She opened it and it had names and phone numbers. She took it and headed back to her house. When she got there she open the book and the first name and number was Jeff.
Jeff was sitting at his kitchen table on his laptop when his phone rang. The voice said, is this Jeff? He said, yes. The voice said, this is Serena Jean’s girlfriend. I am looking for answers to what happened to Matthew and Jean. Jeff said, where did you get my number from? The voice said, it doesn’t matter.
Jeff said, I just want to make sure who you are before talking to you. The voice said, I am Serena and I was living with Jean. Jeff said, At the compound where Angel is? She said, yes. Jeff picked up his other phone and dialed Carlson. He said to Serena, what do you want to know? Carlson answered. He muted Serena. Then said to Carlson this is Jeff. Carlson said, what do you want? Jeff said, I have a woman on my other phone saying she is Serena calling from the compound. Carlson set up in bed and said, what? Jeff said, yes. She is on the phone right now. Carlson got up and hit a emergency button. This locked everyone’s doors. Carlson said to Jeff, keep her on the phone. And hung up. Carlson called Digital Security. Chloe answered. He told Chloe to find Serena’s phone and send the team to get her. I will be down to see you in a few minutes. He hung up. Chloe told the the team that Serena was home and sent them there. Six guys in full gear were at Serena’s door. They had Chloe unlocked it and they went in. They found Serena at her kitchen table with her phone and the book. They stuck their guns in her face and said, hang up the phone. They took Serena and her mom to the hospital down stairs. They put Serena in Angel’s old room and her mom in the Doctors old room. They told the guard these women are criminals and he was not to go in their rooms. To use the food slot if he needed to give them something. No metal eating table wear. He was to be very careful and follow all the rules so he didn’t find himself in one of the cell. The guard said, he would follow all rules. The team left
Carlson was notified the two women have been put in cells and a total search of the house was complete. Serena’s phone and the black book was delivered to Carlson. Carlson called Scott and told him to report to his office. Scott went to Carlson office. Carlson said, sit down. When Scott sat down Carlson held up the black book and said, did you give Serena this book? Scott’s eyes got big and said, no. Never. Carlson said, how did she get it? Scott said, she must have got in my room someway and took it off my dresser. Carlson said, Do you keep your door locked? Scott said, no. Not when I am near by. Carlson said, from now on you have to keep your door locked because she took this book and was calling people. Scott said, why,? Carlson said, She claimed she was trying to find out more about what happened to Jean. Scott said, I am so sorry. I never thought someone would go in my room and take something. Carlson said, we have Serena and her mom in holding down stairs in the hospital. I don’t know what we are going to do with them yet. For now you can go. Scott got up and said, I am really sorry this happened and left. Scott went back to his room. He then went and told Paul what happened.
I woke up at 7:00am and Mom’s front door was open. Scott came in and went out. Carlson came in and went back out. Mom went out and came back in. I wondered what was going on. I got up and went to the bathroom. Cindy was taking care of the kids. I started getting ready to go to breakfast. I didn’t want to get up. On top of everything else I think I have depression. I just want to sleep and I am not hungry. At breakfast Mom said, Serena will not be eating with us any more. Serena was caught calling really bad people last night. Every one was looking at Mom in surprise. I was so depressed. Matthew was gone and now Serena was gone. It was hard to eat and not cry. Scott asked if I was ok? I was just staring at my food. I said, this is just very hard to deal with. I never thought Serena would do something like that. Scott said, I know. I didn’t think so either. I thought I am so far off base. I was always a strong person and now I don’t know how to get back to square one. I feel like I don’t know who I am anymore.
