Amy woke me up about 2:00am. She said I was tossing, turning and moaning. I felt so bad. No pains, just generally felt bad. My calf’s did hurt some. She said Matthew just called because he was worried about me. She said he was coming over and when he gets here I was to be nice to him. That he feels bad about yesterday. She gave me some water and 2 Tylenol. Matthew knock on the door. Amy let him in. I was sitting on the edge of the bed. He came over got down on one knee, took my hand and said he was so sorry about getting upset yesterday. He wasn’t thinking when he looked over in bed and I was gone. He wanted me to forgive him. A smile came on my face and tears rose in my eyes. I was so glad to see him. I asked if I could have a kiss. He got up and he hugged me and kissed me. He said, ” Amy says your not feeling well tonight.” I said, ” no, I don’t feel well and I don’t know why.” Amy spoke up and told both of us your doctor is sending a special doctor in the morning to do an ultrasound and other test to check on the baby. I told Matthew I had to go to the bathroom. He walked with me to the bathroom and when I was done he said, “Let’s get you back in bed.” Amy told Matthew she had checked everything even blood sugar and didn’t find anything. She said she was going to leave us and went in her room. Matthew asked me if it hurt any where and I told him my legs were bothering me. He rubbed them. That help a lot. I asked him if he would hold me because I just felt bad. He got undress, in bed, reached under me pulling me over on his shoulder and then my head onto his chest. I could hear his heart beating. I felt warm, loved and fell asleep. Around 6:30 he woke me up and asked if felt well enough to go to breakfast. I was feeling better. We got up took a shower and went to breakfast.
Mom was at breakfast and she was glad to see me and I was glad to see her. She was asking how I was doing and I told her I was feeling better. I told her what Amy had told me that there was a doctor coming today to check me out. Mom was happy about that. They brought me a nice breakfast but didn’t feel up to eating it. Matthew said to try and eat something that the baby needed it. I started eating and it tasted really good. I felt a little better and ended up eating everything on my plate. Matthew looked at me with a big smile. After breakfast we were going to sit in the living room a little while and see what was on tv but just as we were going to sit down Amy called Matthew and told him the doctor was here and to go meet him in the medical center. Matthew took my hand and led me passed the pool, passed the security building and to the medical center. We went in. Amy and the house nurse was there. She took us into a good sized room where there was a doctor. The doctor shook Matthews hand and told me my doctor had sent him saying I wasn’t feeling well. He had me sit on the exam table and started asking questions. He wrote everything on a clip board with papers. Then he had me lay on the exam table pulled my pants down below my stomach and the nurse pulled my blouse up to below my breast. He said he want to check out the baby. He listened to my baby and said yes there is a baby there. I can hear the heart beat loud and clear. Then he put a small heartbeat monitor on my stomach and said, “Do you hear that Matthew?” We both could hear the heart beat loud and clear. Matthew got this big smile on his face. Stood up from his chair and took my hand, still grinning from ear to ear. The doctor took the monitor off my stomach and handed it to the nurse who handed him a tube of fresh aloe vera gel for the ultrasound. The nurse said, “I tried to warm it up a little so it wouldn’t be too cold.” The doctor squirted a lot on my stomach and then put this small handheld device against my stomach. Moving it around and looking at the monitor. After a bit he said there it is. He started working on the machine. Moving the device to different places as Amy and the Nurse looked over his shoulder. He would say some numbers, take some pictures and say that’s really good. After taking a lot of readings and pictures. He said to nurse I want this one for them. A picture came out of a machine just as he turned the monitor toward Matthew and me and said, “Look right here, You have beautiful baby.” The both of us looked a the monitor and there was a good picture of the baby. He then handed the picture to Matthew and said, “Its a boy. Have you thought of any names yet?” Matthew said proudly, “Yes, Wyatt.” The doctor replied, “That’s a nice name.” He then looked at me and said, “I don’t see any reason for you feeling bad. Sometimes if you over do it or have too much excitement that can cause it. The nurse is going to repeat some of the test your nurse took and see if we see anything but everything here right now looks fine. You need to eat according to your doctor, get exercise and drink plenty of water. Everything should go fine.” The nurse started cleaning off my stomach and Matthew sat down and looked at the picture. Amy said to me, “Isn’t that great?” I looked up at her with a big smile and said, “Yes, really great.” When they were done with us we headed back to the house. I said to Matthew, “Want to go show your mom the picture?” Matthew replied, “Yes, let’s go find her.” He took his phone out of his pocket and told her he wanted to show her something. She said she would meet us in the living room. When we got there Matthew’s mom was already there. We sat down next to her and Matthew showed her the picture. She said, “My first grandchild.” Matthew said, “Your first boy grandchild.” Mom put her arm around Matthew and with a hug said, “A boy. Wow a baby boy.” Matthew was grinning from ear to ear. He was so excited. Mom asked, “Did the doctor find any reason for her not feeling well?” Matthew said, “No, that it happens. Maybe she had been over doing it or too much excitement. They did some more test, but right now said everything looked great.” Mom was so happy. We were all smiling and happy. Matthew gave mom the picture and she said she was going to have it framed. She went off with the picture. Matthew hugged me and gave me a big kiss. He then said, ” What do you want to do today?” I hadn’t thought about it.” He said, “You want to go swimming?” I loved the pool so I said it sound great. We went swimming, had a great lunch with mom, watched a little tv, went to the gym, had dinner, watch a movie and went to bed. An all around full day. When I got in bed I felt great and told Matthew. He smiled and said, “Good. So that sick feeling was gone.” I said, “Yes.” When I put my head on his chest I went to sleep and slept really good all night.
