I woke up and looked around. Mom was sleeping on a roll away bed. I was in Mom’s room. She didn’t want to take her eyes off anyone of us so she was keeping us in her room. Hunter was in a crib. I tried to roll over and get up. I saw Matthew on the floor with the baby. The baby was crying and Matthew had picked the baby up and put him on his chest. The baby didn’t want him. The baby was hungry and wanted breast milk. I tried to get up but couldn’t. I couldn’t talk. So in a whispered said, “Matthew, Matthew.” I didn’t think he could hear me so I started waving my hand. He sat up with the baby and said, “Do you want the baby?” I whispered, I am sick and can’t sit up. Matthew said, “What is it?” I said, “I think it is low blood sugar.” Mom who had got up and came to the bed, had heard me said, “I will be right back.” Everything kept going black but I could hear everything. Mom quickly went to the kitchen and returned with milk and orange. I drank the milk and started feeling better. I then drank the orange juice. I was now able to sit up. The baby was not happy to wait. As soon as I was feeling well enough I put the baby against my breast to feed him. He was very happy about that. I told Matthew I felt better but was very shaky. Mom and Matthew decided I need to eat every four hours like the baby. My whole system was so messed up from being asleep for so many days. I felt like I had lost a lot of weight and muscle. My body was most likely using what ever it could find for the baby. It was really hard to eat because my stomach was not use to solid food. Matthew went to the kitchen and got some pudding and toast. He wanted me to try and eat something before I went back to sleep. I said, I would try. I looked at mom who was sitting on the bed on my right side and Matthew sitting on the bed on my left side and decided this is not a dream. I had some how made it home. Mom put her arm around me and said, “Don’t worry. We will have you back on your feet in no time.” I was so happy I could cry.
